Theoretical teaching
Study of ecology; Forms of ecosystem pollutants (emission, transmission, imission); Indicators of local any global pollution (green house effect, ozone layer); Classification of hazardous and harmful substances; Environmental standards and legislation; Direct and indirect impact of hazardous substances in manufacturing processes; Impact assessment of manufacturing processes on human health (during work, locally and globally); Risk assessment of chemical hazards, as well as from fires and explosions; Cycling transformations of pollutants in environment; Accredited eco-laboratories; Strategic impact assessment of air, water and soil on the food chain and human health; Local environmental action program;
Practical teaching
Familiarisation with legislation (feasibility studies, dissemination, law on air quality). Essays based on feasibility studies. Calculations of various accidental situations.
