Description
The educational objective of this course is acquiring knowledge in the field of business ethics and law, particularly from the aspect of the basic concepts of business ethics and law, origin, evolution and application of this knowledge in practice.
Course content is divided into two parts, theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part includes: conceptual definition of ethics, place and role of ethics in business, evolution of the concept of business ethics, business ethics and business policy, specific aspects of business ethics, business ethics and leadership, subject, background and sources of business law, basic business entities, enterprises – as business entities, unlimited companies, private limited companies, other entities in the economy, linking companies, business associations, basics of business law, business and contract law, a contract of sale, types of business contracts. The practical part includes writing seminar paper, which aims at improving student's knowledge; his/her work autonomy and improvement of technical terminology in written expression.
Educational outcomes: the acquired knowledge in the field of business ethics and law students will use to identify the various phenomena in the field of business ethics and business law and to solve problems that have their origins in the theory and practice of modern business organizations (from the aspect of ethical principles and their application, and application of the elements of business law in business). Students will be able to work independently and in team, to solve problems independently, collectively and interactively, to establish a particular level of communication and to present the results of their work adequately.
